Brangus & Ultrablack Cattle

Dotson

Cattle

The Dotson Family is proud to call northwest Oklahoma our home. Our family has been located southeast of Enid, Oklahoma since the 1893 Land Run and have been involved in farming and livestock merchandising for over 100 years. In 1980, the Dotson family began raising registered and commercial Brangus cattle focusing on the important economic traits such as fertility, performance, and carcass quality which has resulted in a herd of outstanding females. These females are the foundation that provide a good selection of quality range bulls and replacement females for our customers. In 2012, Dotson Cattle also began breeding Ultrablack Cattle (Brangus x Angus). The goal of this breeding is to take the performance, muscle expression, disease resistance, and longevity of the Brangus female and breed them to proven, high accuracy Angus bulls. Ultimately, this breeding gives us the pounds on the scale that we acquire from Brangus cattle with a little less sheath and ear that some of our customers are requesting. If you are looking for herd bulls or the best commercial replacement females Oklahoma has to offer, come by and see us.
